I want to blog for the next six months heavily. Remembering that I will
be the only person to ever read this I feel I need to blog to take note
of the amazing journey I will be on. I'll be starting a company or at
least trying with someone else's money.
Maybe I'll turn it into a book if we become a google.
Full Fat Things
Full Fat Things is my company. Leveraging my many years experience building very scalable sites for publishers I have set up Full Fat Things.
I make sites Drupal (and other) sites go super fast with database tuning, proxy caching implementations, CDN installations, converting to Pressflow from Drupal and good old fashioned code reviews for optimisation. Additionally we consult on development practices to help you make your developers more productive!
Geosay
geosay is a site I built with @dansingerman. It is a free super-local information service for finding out what people are saying, and have said, right where you are. Content is ordered by nearest, not most recent. As well as having content native to the platform, it also aggregates data from Twitter and Foursquare and we plan to add other services. Mobile users get a version customised for that platform.
Project Red Stripe
The Project Red Stripe book that details my work as well as the other five people on Project Red Stripe
Project Red Stripe was a six-member team comprised of The Economist Group's employees that was brought together with the task of creating an innovative and web-based product, service or business model by July 2007.
